SSD - From Our Blog to Yours
This is one of my favorite cakes and I just love to have a piece on a hot day.
Gelatin Poke Cake
1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
1 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Gelatin, any flavor
1/2 cup cold water
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
PREPARE and bake cake in 13x9-inch baking pan as directed on package. Remove from oven. Cool cake in pan 15 minutes. Pierce cake with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
MEANWHILE, stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in small bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water; carefully pour over cake. Refrigerate 3 hours.
FROST with whipped topping. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. Cut into 16 slices. Store leftover cake in the refrigerator.
Just posting this is making me crave a piece right now hehe. Also since this uses cool whip and I buy the low fat kind I don't feel so guilty having a slice :)

Hey all
I did a little shopping today over at Scrapartist while they have a sale going on there. I only picked up a few items but I have so much more on my wish list that I will have to get later hehe. Goign to post a few pics on what I bought.
I just had to buy the new SA Collab kit for July " Reverie "
Next I got this awesome Alpha - Doodling Days #1 - Curly Q Alpha by Weeds and Wildflowers.
Last I got one of the Beauty Marks by Two Sister Designs.
There was so much more I wanted to grab but I need to take it easy since I have been shopping alot the last couple of weeks. Since I am new at this I just had to stock up some hehe.
Well thats it for now. Go and Grab the Reverie Kit if you dont have it yet it is just awesome. I will be posting a few layouts later on when I get a chance to scrap.

A challenge over at Girl Talk Blog was to use any products of Dani Mogstad to create a blog banner. So I thought hey why not enter in it since I was already going to use her products for my banner when I got my blog going. Sticky Toffee Pudding ice cream
OK a couple days ago while I was watching my favorite channel Food Network I watched a special they had on called Scoop. Its was a show on contestents making their dream ice cream and one winner having theirs made by them. I was a little sad when the one I wanted to try lost ( Toasted Cocunut Sesame Brittle )but I still wanted to try the winner. So today while I was at the store I just had to stop at the ice cream section to see if they were still carring the winner of the contest. Mmmmmm , its is just so good. I could just sit here and eat the whole pint size container. You just have to go out and try this. Its a vanilla base ice cream with sticky swirls of toffee and lots of brown sugar cake chunks. Its like heaven, its that good hehe.
I also noticed on the container that they are doing the same contest again this year, http://scoop.haagen-dazs.com/ is the link to site if any of you want to check it out. I am sure it will also show sometime after September since they show Sara Moulton from food network as the host this year. The top 3 are looking very yumm and one of them has coconut in it , Yeah !!! hehe

This is my first blog. I started it just to post about me, my family and of course digi scraping. So this is just to have something fun to do along with scraping hehe.
I found out about digi scraping a year ago but never really got into it untill a month ago. I did start to scrap around the time I found out about this but I just had a baby so getting used to having 2 kids and taking care of a infant took up alot of my time and not to mention about a month or so after I bought a bunch of nice kits and some very nice free ones my hard drive quit on me and I lost everything /cry. I would still go around and look at some of the sites I found but just did not get into it again. I also got back into playing World of Warcraft ( online game ) that took up way to much of my time lol. About 3 months ago I stoped playing that game becuase I was just way to addicted to it. I still get an urge to play it every so often though but have not gave in yet lol. Instead I am scraping and loving it :) and having so much fun shopping !!! I just got a 40% off coupon from Sweet Shoppe Designs for getting 25 points in challenges that they do on their site. I just love them and will keep up on the challenges so I can keep shopping hehe. Sweet Shoppe Designs is also where all my LO's I have done so far are at. I just love that place !! :)
